Such was the case of a woman who moved from Maryland to Arizona. After eight months of paying the mortgage on her unsold home in Baltimore, she sent her agent a statue and burial instructions. Within two weeks, the house sold.

Another case involved a couple moving because of a new job. But their house, which was in a very active neighborhood, wasn’t doing anything, even with St. Joseph in the ground. But St. Joseph’s presumed inattention turned out to be for the better. The husband got a better job offer, and that’s when the house sold.

Betsy Moyer was determined to sell her house on Lake Avenue in Baltimore at a premium. She listed it for $15,000 more than other sellers in the same neighborhood. After seven quiet months a friend recommended that Moyer plant St. Joseph.

The next week a group of nuns arrived to look at the house. Three months later, the house was sold at the highest price ever in that area, according to her agent.

 Prayer for a special intention – like buying a house.

Here is a small daily prayer for a specific intention. It can be anything like finding a job, finding a suitable Life Partner, for finding a house and so on.

Jesus, my Lord and my God, I worship you and adore you. Lord you have said, “Your Father and Mother may abandon you, but I will never abandon you. “

I believe in you and, so I surrender all fears, anxieties and worries into your hands. Lord, I believe in your eternal love. Cover me with your love and let me experience your grace. I pray for the following intention… (Mention your intention here). If you will Lord and if it will be for my goodness, I humbly pray that you may grant me my request. Amen

About my Catholic Faith

I was baptized a Catholic as baby and raised in a strong Catholic family. Along with my 4 other brothers and sisters we all went to Catholic High School. I decided to attend college at the Catholic University of San Diego where I met my wife. We were married in 1986 and have 4 children. All my kids went to St Johns Elementary school and to La Costa Canyon High School in North County of San Diego.

Although we went to mass most Sundays, I did not maintain a strong faith or strong relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.  I guess you could say I was going through the motions. My wife and I attended a retreat in the spring of 2016 that has changed my faith life forever. I now have Christ back in my life daily with morning prayer, daily regular prayer, and nightly prayer. I feel that prayers of thanksgiving and prayers for simple and profound need are what brought me closer to God.

Christ now sits on the board of directors of my real estate company, I make sure to ask him to help me in every client home purchase, and every client home sale. I ask him to bless all my clients with good fortune in these big decisions of buying and selling real estate.
